Agarus
I bought this being a long time Berry fan and also to replace my vinyl copies of "Back Home" and "San Francisco Dues". There's lots of good stuff from his later period on the set but it is NOT his complete 1969 to 1974 Chess recordings. For some inexplicable reason two of the best tracks from "San Francisco Dues" - "Viva Rock and Roll" and "Lonely Schooldays" are missing. Why?????????
The box set only covers recordings made from 1969-1974. Both of the tracks you are asking about were recorded earlier. "Lonely School Days" was recorded on December 15, 1964 while "Viva Viva Rock 'N' Roll" was recorded on April 13, 1966. Therefore they were included in the box set You Never Can Tell: His Complete Chess Recordings 1960-1966.
